Uniquely at Anchusa Care, we have a Dementia Activity Box filled with painting, crafts and puzzles all specifically designed for people with cognitive loss. The carers use these in the community to engage with your loved ones in a way that is innovative and unique.
Many people living with dementia feel most settled in their own home, surrounded by familiar things and routines. Our carers help you keep those routines going, so each day feels as natural and comfortable as possible.
We start by getting to know the person, not just their diagnosis: what they enjoy, what worries them, how they like their day to run and what matters most to them and their family. This is written into a care plan that we review as needs change, because dementia is different for everyone and changes over time.
